Soph from Enghien, BelgiumI love the tones and the texture of this photo... very nostalgic for me! Greatly done! 9 Aug 2007 7:57am Ginnie from Atlanta, GA, United StatesYears ago, this is how you would see hay bundled in the United States, Saed, but for many years now, we roll our hay. I think I heard that the rolled bales keep the water out better or allow the bales to dry out better. So, I'm quite intrigued that the old system is still being used here. I love this in sepia! 9 Aug 2007 1:04pm Michael Rawluk from Prince George, CanadaI haven't seen many bales like that in years. Nice shot. 9 Aug 2007 3:18pm Rebecca from Leicester, United KingdomVery lovely rustic shot...has a real sense of going back in time! 9 Aug 2007 4:08pm josef from SwedenVery interesting shot. I like the kind of warm tones in contrast to the rather desolate landscape. 9 Aug 2007 4:50pm tengtan from Melbourne, AustraliaFine patterns from the hay packs with the sepia rendering giving the image a timeless countryside atmosphere. 9 Aug 2007 11:55pm Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesVery nicely pictured; the image and the muted tones are perfect for each other. 10 Aug 2007 2:37am petitlouis from Liège, BelgiumGood treatment for this geometrical rural landscape.
